Who are Wendel & Tina Broussard?

Wendel and Tina Broussard graciously donate the use of their property for the festival. They have lived on this land since 1983, and have built a home and raised two great sons, Wyatt and Travis.

Wendel is a man who knows how to get things done, and when it comes to a party... he is a professional. He is one of the finest people you may ever meet. He is a master Metal-Smith, and is a teacher of this art, specializing in French Repousse, which is like "sculpting" metal. His work is much sought after, and his clientele include many Celebrities, Professional Athletes, and, well, you get the picture... In addition his countless other attributes, he is a patient teacher, a great mandolinist, a loving husband, an amazing father, and one of the last real cowboys .

Tina is a loving and generous person. She does so much every year to make Wendelfest run smoothly, and thus, she is the backbone of the entire event. She works at the local Foundry, fabricating anything you could imagine, to be used in any manner possible. She is incredibly artistic, and does all of the beautiful decorations for Wendelfest. Among other things, Tina is a gardner, a jewelry maker, wonderful wife, a great mother, and and incredibly dedicated, hard worker.
